Burgers & Beer Not Finished Yet

While many people in and around Gibson City are anxious for the new Burgers and Beer to open up, they may have to wait a bit longer. Restaurant owner Scott Irps told the Paxton Record today that the building renovations are about 70 percent complete, and that it would probably open up sometime in January. Burgers & Beer has held interviews for open positions within the last few weeks, and Irps says he expects to have around 20 to 25 employees. Burgers & Beer will be replacing D.G. Sullivan’s, which closed in November of last year.
